This farm, at the gates of Calolziocorte, offers a lot of courtesy as well as genuine food. We decided to have lunch at Easter and we were not betrayed. The staff is kind and has provided us with all the necessary information to reach the farm. After the aperitif, accompanied by pieces of focaccia, we continued with the mixed appetizers of the house. A good risotto with chestnuts and tasty tagliatelle, the first ones proposed. To follow, two seconds of meat among which goat bucconcini. I was in this farm a Sunday at lunch, through Groupon. Honestly I had heard people who had been disappointed by this farm, but I must say that, despite not being kept the original menu, I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes are simple, but tasty. It's been a while since I wanted to dine at the farm IL PRATO delle LUCCIOLE invogliato from good reviews and from the fact that thanks to a coupon the cost of the dinner was really cheap (11 euro). To reach the farm you have to walk about 400 meters along a path in the woods (I dare to go in the car) and then find yourself in front of a farmhouse with a lot of breeding of various animals. The dining room is not very large (about 20 seats) but quite cozy. Let's start our dinner with a series of sausages (pancetta, salami and cup), of the sconce with rosemary and vegetables in vinegar. As first dishes we are served some homemade noodles (I think they were only seasoned with butter) and a risotto with the nettles (the best dish of the evening). For second a thigh of roast rabbit and roasted bull (with a decidedly special taste). Dinner finale with tart American grape and elder liqueur offered by the friendly farm manager. Ultimately, a dinner that was well desired for the goodness of some dishes ( risotto) and the peculiarity of others (the bull meat) while on the other hand I must report the portions a little reduced especially in the second dishes (but perhaps due to the fact that we had dinner thanks to a coupon). Mention for the friendliness of the manager (of which unfortunately I do not remember the name) , of his fantastic liqueur to the elder and the beautiful lake view panorama.
