Went here for the first time today and was accompanied by a regular who absolutely loves this place. It's his fave brewery and I can understand why. Ordering was quick and efficient with lots of great options. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Really nice outdoor courtyard and very dog-friendly. I got the No Salt Seltzer...refreshing, tart, and perfect! Also tried a bit of the Taste Bud hazy IPA. I'm not... View all feedback.
What Deepa C doesn't like about Monkish Brewing:
Very Racist. Bad behavior by staff and management . Our drinks were snatched. Never experienced something like this in my 40 years. A night out with a group of friends just turned into a nightmare. View all feedback.
If you are a New England IPA Hazy fan...you can't go wrong with their Hazy options. I highly recommend the Monk Magic Dynasty Hazy IPA.
Ahh, Monkish. A place many would call IPA Mecca on the west coast, and appropriately so. As a longtime patron dating back to their first year in 2012, they've changed a ton, but it's still one of my favorite breweries in America. I typically come here every week to pickup cans and try what's new on tap. We even took our baby here at one week old. They're super child friendly and pet friendly and have a great outdoor area. Gone are the days of being confined to the tiny, stuffy tasting room. Parking can be a bit tight on can release days, but it has been a few months since I have had to park outside of the lot. The beer tenders are always patient and are great resources in helping you find what you may like. The line can get long, though they always manage to get through it quick without you feeling like you're being rushed. So if you haven't been, put on your favorite beer shirt and run down to enjoy some world class IPAs, Belgian styles, and lagers!
We are a regular visitor to Brewing along with Family Friends in Torrance area. Whole idea is to relax, get good environment with great beer. However, this time it was such a great disappointment choosing Monkish Brewing. It all started with a very hostile welcome by server and a very rude behavior throughout. Their senior staff were defending the server action and also misbehaved with us. On top of all this, their beer quality was sucks with no real taste. All in all, worst experience of our life and we truly regret our decision of choosing this place. Please think twice to go there and do not ruin your evening at this place. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL .
Recently went with a group of close friends and were shocked at the lack of costumer service, shabbiness of the place and bad behavior of servers. Two servers, Jose and Joe (at least this the name they told us) were particularly rude. Whatever the reason was, they should have been polite and treated us, well at least, like humans! They completely spoiled our evening. I usually don't write reviews, but this time I am compelled to put one out as you don't want to run into these nasty guys. Strongly suggest you to avoid this place. There are many nice breweries nearby where you will be treated better.
