Misto Caffe Bakery - Torrance

Three of us had our Easter brunch at Misto’s. The food was tasty, but the eggs could have been a bit hotter. It was crowded so I attribute it to how busy they were. Overall, a nice dining experience.

Went based on reviews. The food and service was good, but the ambiance left a lot to be desired. Old, beat up, tables and chairs, restroom was reminiscent of a gas station, clean but spartan and showing wear and repairs. Fine for a quick bite at lunch but would not recommend for a nice dinner out.

I enjoyed my chicken ravioli and my sister loves the angel hair pasta with prawns, but my mom wasn't too happy with the burger. She said it was dry. Other than that, we had a good experience.

Last minute New Year’s eve dinner; admittedly everything else booked or too expensive. It was quiet with just a few other diners scattered throughout which was fine with us. Waitress was young and charming and very attentive. Asked sheepishly if chef would dub my shiritaki (miracle noodles) for the fettuccine in my scampi pasta and it was a go which made my meal quite enjoyable as the prawns were nicely cooked and sweet. My dining companion asked for a sub on the cheese in the Spinach salad and regrettably the kitchen did not follow the server’s notes. Would we come back yeah but no rush but good to know the kitchen will work with you on subs even if they don’t always follow through.

Good food, great service, and really nice outside patio.
