Calf Chick - Torrance

I have dined at this restaurant several times. The food is good, and I have never had any complaints. I usually order online for pick-up through ChowNow. Today was the second time I picked up my order. When I arrived at the counter and informed them that I had an online order (placed 15 minutes prior), they had not even checked the online orders. It took 20 minutes to prepare my food, with a total wait time of 35 minutes. The manager did not assist in expediting the orders, despite saying she would make my food. She never once entered the kitchen. The cashier mentioned that they were overwhelmed that day. If they cannot handle lunch orders efficiently, they should consider closing earlier or adjusting their menu. A customer who had been waiting before me informed them that he only had 30 minutes for lunch. The manager showed no remorse and appeared visibly upset. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I tried the grilled beef and chicken sandwiches and they were fantastic! The service was also excellent, and my friends enjoyed their meal as well. The best part is that all the meat is halal. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for breakfast.

We have passed by this restaurant many times before, but never had the chance to visit until recently. It is somewhat hidden behind Wendy's, so it can be easy to miss. The upscale logo led us to believe it was part of a business chain. Calf Chick is a more upscale version of the Mediterranean Deli restaurant. The food is very clean and has a refreshing taste. I highly recommend trying their fresh chicken garlic dish - it is simple, yet satisfying. The sauces were fantastic as well. An added bonus for me was how clean the bathrooms were - a rarity in busy restaurants like this one. Be sure to check them out!

Server are all very nice. Description of the elements on the menu are a bit fuzzy compared to what shows there is no pork breakfast, and the beef bacon is terrible, much too salty and tastes like a stele refrigerator. my friend had the fertilizer, it was pretty good.

First impressions: Clean, very open, spacious, modern and friendly staff who greet you upon entry. I ordered the Garlic chicken sandwich that was very good. Not too strong in garlic, just the right amount of flavor. I highly recommend you give this small eatery a try.
