Our large group really enjoyed the experience of dining at the Woodlot. We had a particularly attentive waiter who accommodated our special needs without missing a beat. Food is freshly prepared, so no fast food service here. There is a separate vegetarian menu with as many choices as the main menu. There is a nice selection of beers and wines. View all feedback.

Food was great. Service was terrible. Staff disappeared and did not bother to refill water, take a second drink order or bring the bill. After waiting a long time, we found them drinking behind the bar. View all feedback.

It had been awhile since I had been to Woodlot, or heard much about it, but I'm happy to report it was still incredibly tasty food and a great experience/
The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!
I love this place! Your salsa is excellent and the mole is wonderful too. I eat here every time I am in Laguna Beach.
