With so many options for brunch in Leslieville, I was excited to try yet another. This one caught my eye as it's super cute and cozy looking. I had their kombucha of the day and their Southern breakfast which came with eggs, white gracy, a biscuit, the most delicious bacon I've ever had all on top of corn grits. It was a creamy, dreamy delight.I would love to come back again to try more dishes! View all feedback.
May be the best diner meal i’ve had so far. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. In particular, the biscuit and gravy were a highlight
Visited this place after hearing it recently got put on the Micheline Guide let’s say I was not disappointed in the slightest! The wait was approximately 2 hrs for a Sunday brunch, but you can put yourself on the waitlist online so that was not a problem at all.The breakfast patty melt was spectacular; all the flavours in the sandwich melted together well and the meat was not greasy at all. Special shout out to the sweet potato salad on the side! The sweet potato potato flavour shined through. The hot turkey was surprisingly savoury but still had hints of sweetness pop through from the chutney (feel free to ask for more chutney, we were able to get some more on the side! . Last but not least, the hashbrown was SO SO good! Loved the addition of mayo and scallions on top. The hash browns were buttery, well cooked, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in the city! This place definitely met my expectations. From the wonderful attentive service we received to the calm ambience of the diner, I certainly am happy with my experience. It was a shame all the donuts were sold out by the time we reached the restaurant but I would love to try them the next time I come here!
I’ve heard people mention that this is the best diner in Toronto and I was skeptical, but after visiting I can see why White Lily is so acclaimed. The food was amazing, the service was attentive but not intrusive and the ambiance was great. Overall would definitely come again. Additionally the queue time system was really great although there was definitely a wait, some forethought mitigates any downside of this.
Amazing food! We got the Hot Turkey and Patty Melt. Both were delicious. Will definitely come back!!! Its a small restaurant. We went on Sunday at 12:30 and waited 15mins for a bar seat. Not bad! Next time we'll make reservations to sit at a table.Iced coffee was okay. Its slightly acidic with a sour aftertaste.
This is a gem of a spot! We came here for lunch. When we arrived there was a few minutes wait as it's a small restaurant. There is outdoor seating but the skies were threatening rain. Everything on the menu was appealing so we decided to try a few things to share. Oh my goodness was it delicious! Quality, fresh ingredients with generous portions. We tried the sweet potato salad, pimento cheese with sourdough toast pickles, farm salad buttermilk biscuits with jam. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach so we brought the rest home. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Do yourself a favour and eat here. Doesn't hurt that it's now been added to the Michelin Guide for Toronto!
