Guests rave about the chef’s unique flavor combinations, from refreshing watermelon gazpacho to perfectly cooked steak frites. Despite a few service hiccups, such as a missing spoon and a mix-up with appetizers, the staff generally receives high praise, especially amidst bustling crowds. The atmospheric poolside dining enhances the experience, although some diners noted the music choices could be improved. Overall, this culinary gem is recommended for its excellent food, serene ambiance, and stunning views, making it a must-visit destination.
The food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The winterlicious offer is a fantastic value for the price.
Two servers were working during my visit. Unfortunately, they brought out the wrong appetizer and one of them insisted that it was the correct one, refusing to get me the item I had actually ordered. The awkwardness continued as I was the only customer in the restaurant at 12 pm on a weekend, and the servers stared at me throughout my entire meal.
This restaurant is fantastic in every way! It's my favorite spot in the city!
While this place was hard to find, once we got there we had a great time and really enjoyed the food and service.
Truly outstanding service, from the manager who was able to find us a nice table at the Pool Lounge, and from the server her name was Kerry, I believe. They did the best in the quite challenging circumstances it was Canada Day, with the Waterfront Festival and tall ships in the Toronto harbour, and crowds of people in the hotel pool. It is a very nice place, with a pleasant view of the lake (and the island airport), fresh evening breeze and excellent food. Their spinach salad is superb, so is the steak. Recommended!
