I have the paten sandwich. The portions are huge compared to sandwiches we get in Singapore. Honestly, one half is easy for a person. I traveled with a couple and they were already full of a half. The sandwich I got was the calf that was hearty. The meat is a bit hard compared to a regular beef patty, but I think that's because I've never eaten calf. Overall, recommend Singaporean travelers come to st right to try th... View all feedback.

Amazing veal parm. This is now my favorite place to eat when I'm<br/ In Toronto <br/ <br/ 10/10
This place is fantastic. My wife and I go most Saturdays for an eggplant sandwich on Focaccia bread. The Greek family who runs the place does an awesome job. Best $15 you will spend on two giant sandwiches and two coffees. You should see the line up on Saturdays.
Ok so UNO Mustachio is my regular place for breakfast but believe it or not I've just been having only their coffee there. Something about it has me hooked and when the market is closed on Sundays and Mondays I can't get my usual fix from there. It's the best coffee I've ever had.<br/ <br/ The crew are a great bunch and once they know you they know you're order.<br/ <br/ This time I decided to try a veal sandwich with cheese and all the toppings. I absolutely loved it. Their marinara sauce is excellent and you can taste the fresh herbs in it. The bread they use is so good you could eat it plain. I bet all their other sandwiches are great. I will surely try their spaghetti and other pasta dishes.<br/ <br/ Don't miss out on UNO Mustachio when in the St Lawrence Market as you will be a regular.
I've heard from many this legendary eggplant veal sandwich before but never trekked downtown to try it. Secretly I was skeptical about having a piece of veg, much less an eggplant, on my beloved veal.<br/ <br/ Man have I missed out all these YEARS! The eggplant brings moist to the sammie that extra sauce simply can't without making it soggy. The veal itself is meaty, lean, but not chewy or hard to bite off then breaded thinly to give a flat but LARGE piece of meat that hangs about an inch outside of the bread on one side. It's that big! We ordered it fully loaded with all 4 free toppings, mushrooms, onions, jalapeños, and green peppers. The resulting sandwich was massive (see picture of cross section). The bread itself is fine. Nothing special but it doesn't get in the way of your veal eggplant enjoyment. If the bread were slightly more crunchy on the outside, this will be the perfect veal sandwich.
Great Sandwich!. We were walking around St. Lawrence Market and decided to stop at Uno Mustachio for lunch. It wasn't too busy as it wasn't the lunch hour yet. There were a few good options to consider however, I settled on the chicken parmesan sandwich. The stall looked well organized with quite a few workers behind the counter. When I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich, one of the workers took the bun from the top of the counter, put the chicken inside, and slapped some sauce and cheese on it. I was hoping that they would put it in the oven however, they didn't offer to do that. It cost me $9 which I thought was a bit pricey however, it was a great sandwich. I personally wouldn't come back again only because it was too expensive but would recommend it for others who want a great chicken sandwich!
