Was User at Union Chicken a mag?
Good chicken but in my opinion overpriced, to be honest I expected more about it since they said is flavored etc. the rustic potatoes are good. the ice cream is good for 5 cad View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Union Chicken:
This place proudly advertises that all their ingredients are organic and GMO-free and their chicken is free-run. Which is fine. But then everything is deep fried! So how can that be healthy for you? The best item for us was the fried brussel sprouts! View all feedback.

I was enticed to try this joint because of the promise of free range rotisserie chicken which sounded great after a long afternoon of shopping in the Toronto suburbs. The menu is simple, but intriguing. I sampled the brussels sprouts, the broccoli salad, and a quarter rotisserie chicken. Even though I had ordered a quarter dark meat, I was served a breast with a wing. In the USA South, "dark meat" means a thigh piece and a leg, so good to know that is not what it means in Toronto Canada. I was hungry so I tried it anyways. The breast piece was actually slightly undercooked so I ate around the undercooked pink areas near the breast bone. Overall it was dry and not very flavorful. The ramekin of gravy was a savior, as was the lemon. The brussels sprouts were really delicious, spicy and lots of flavor and the various ingredients and garnishes work really well together. The broccoli salad was hard to eat because the pieces were too large and too al dente. The vinaigrette was light and refreshing, just was hoping for smaller pieces. For a mall restaurant, this is a nice option when shopping in this area, but not worth going out of the way for.

Union Chicken is a recently opened restaurant located on James Street North in Hamilton. The interior of the restaurant is nice and welcoming. During our visit last night, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu offers a selection of fried and rotisserie chicken dishes, and we opted for the Rotisserie chicken. I had the 'double legs' and my partner had the half chicken. Both dishes were perfectly cooked with a crispy and flavorful skin. They were served with a small container of 'au jus' sauce, which could be poured or used as a dipping sauce for the chicken. The plates also came with delicious cucumber slices and slices of 'white bread', although we didn't enjoy the bread as we typically don't eat that kind. As for sides, we both chose the Cole slaw, which was fresh and tasty. The service was efficient and friendly, and we found the overall meal to be a good value. We definitely plan on returning to Union Chicken in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant located in a train station. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. It's a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat, whether you're in a rush or not. While the food may not be as flavorful as Swiss Chalet, I would definitely eat here again.
