The new Oakville location of the restaurant has not received favorable reviews. Diners have described the food as lackluster, with some dishes being borderline inedible. The service has also been criticized, with a self-service model that many found unappealing. However, there are positive reviews as well for other locations, with diners praising the delicious food and friendly service. The restaurant's atmosphere was also commended as a great place to relax with friends and family. While some have expressed disappointment with changes in flavor, others have continued to support the restaurant.

Was Anonym at Tosto Quickfire a mag?
We just happen to see the restaurant while in downtown. Tried it and it was beyond what we expected. Very casual but the food was so delicious, definitely going back. We had Funghi pizza with a side of calamari. My boys too relished the food. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Tosto Quickfire:
A bunch of us came here for a work function. Cool decor and space however didn't find the food to be that great. Having said that we only had appetizers, specifically their pizzas. View all feedback.
We came early for dinner last Friday. Amazing service and great food. The pasta is made fresh and not over sauced. One of the better restaurants downtown. It was really quick to get our food, just enough time to get back to the office.Try the Aragosta pasta...The lobster and caper combo is fantastic.
The food is quite good however a very limited menu, no specials. The main issue is the style of service, it is cafeteria style meaning you have to go to the counter and order and pay each time so in our case we had drinks and an appetizer, paid for it and then had to go and pick it up when it was ready. We then ordered and paid for our mains and once again had to go and pick them up when they buzzed us. When we wanted more wine we had to go through the whole exercise again. You have to go and get your own cutlery and napkins and are expected to clear the table and take your plates, cutlery and trash to the bussing station. Not our style, we won't be back.
This place has a great atmosphere to just relax with the people you are with. The staff was very friendly and helpful when making selections. I had a pizza called "affumicata". The mushrooms were fresh cooked, the bacon was actual strips not crumble. The crust was great. Nice place for lunch or dinner. A new favorite.
One of default go to for pasta. I just love this place. Especially the Bay and College location. Affordable and tasty. The pizzas are great too. Great sharable portions too. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
