THR is a beloved spot in Toronto for many diners, offering excellent food and service in a chic and cozy atmosphere. While some patrons noted uneven service and noise levels, the majority praised the delicious food offerings, friendly staff, and thoughtful touches like attentive managers and clean facilities. From tasty salads and rotisserie chicken to inventive dishes like gnudi and shrimp with grits, THR provides a unique dining experience that sets it apart from other fast food options. Despite occasional lapses in consistency, the majority of customers express loyalty to this welcoming establishment, where each visit promises flavorful meals and memorable dining experiences.

Enjoyed our dinner. Food was good, service fast and pleasant. Quite noisy so next time will ask for a corner table. We were a group of 4 women trying to catch up and celebrate a birthday. A bit hard to hear each other but didn't stop us lol!

THR is one of my favourite spots. Every time I eat there I am happy with the tastiness of the food and the technique of the chefs. The last time I had gnudi to start and they were lighter and fluffier than any I 've had at other restos. I had grits and shrimp for a main and it was flavourful. I stuck to wine for 'dessert ' although the pineapple cake sounded tempting (other option brownie). In the past I 've had beef heart tartare (amazing) and fish (simple, healthy and enjoyable). It 's a fairly large restaurant but it 's cozier, quieter and the service is better than most bistros. They also have a large patio.

Totally enjoyable experience! Fantastic atmosphere and superb service! Will return! Great selection and sharing appetizers is encouraged! Thanks Nic!

Three of us had dinner there and shared everything. The fritto misto was a bit of a miss, but the red snapper cerviche was amazing. Both mains (bass and steak) were very good. Ambiance and decor also very nice for an upscale get together with friends. The only thing holding me back from an "excellent" is a limited menu for the pasta and mains and while the food was good, I'm not sure it stands up to those prices. I would go back when I wanted to splurge, but not as a regular place.

Another restaurant on the increasingly impressive Harbord Village strip of restaurants, THR & Co. meets the standards you would expect of The Harbord Room (its sister restaurant, I believe).First, let me compliment the service which was attentive, authentic, well-paced, and knowledgeable. Nicely done and thank you.Food was very good. At our table we had the following:Appetizers: shishito peppers, burrata with tomtaoes and sourdough, nduja crostini with caramelized onions, and a sumemr salad.Mains: squid ink linguine, crispy skin sea bream, and the special (whole branzino, grilled). The only complaint about the food is that the branzino was littered with bones and quite challenging to eat. This is probably the fault of this amateur diner and not the restaurant's issue, but if there is a way to improve this I suggest the chefs do so. Highly recommended. The patio looks lovely and has Western exposure which should be nice for evening drinks and dinners.
