We always stop here on our way to Toronto. The chicken is always delicious and we love the fries and BBQ sauce. It is WAY better than Swiss Chalet. It's too bad it isn't franchised. It is basically St Hubert with a different name. Great kids menu too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Q Queensway Rotisserie and Grill:
$16.00 for a burger, if it is Burger you crave go elsewhere, there are much better burgers around and they do not cost $16.00. I expected better, was disappointed in burgers taste and texture, bun was ordinary, and $2.80 for cup of coffee not my idea of good value. There are lots of items on menu did not hear of any complaints from fellow diners in our party.Cole slaw was okay, coffee was hot, Service was excellent,.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. Their chicken and ribs are the best I've ever had. They also serve delicious breakfast options.
The chicken was tender and moist. This restaurant reminds me of the old St. Hubert chicken in Toronto. I also enjoyed the creamy coleslaw, but I was puzzled by the half hamburger buns served on the side. Despite that, I had a great experience and will definitely return.
In addition to the chicken, The Q offers other delicious entrees such as fish and chips and ribs. They also have 3-course meals on Fridays, which include a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts at a great price. However, for me, the rotisserie chicken is enough to keep me coming back again and again. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out The Q.
An alternative to Swiss Chalet modeled after (exactly) St. Hubert. The food is almost identical to either with the exception on the chicken wings which are expensive and small but absolutely delicious!
I'm really sad because I just burnt my tongue in a rush to eat. I guess they literally just made the food hot and fresh but the potatoes and egg were way too hot. I forgot what I chose but it was some kind of vegetarian thing with spinach and to be honest I really didn't like it it tasted like it needed salt or something I'm sure it was heathy but I was envisioning the extra cheese I added to be like inside not on top. I don't know I wasn't a fan, it just didn't taste delicious to me and wished I got sunny side up or poached eggs instead. The potatoes once I was able to eat them at a safe temperature were pretty good the small compact kind I like. The toast was good too not sure if they had a brown toast option but it came as just white and I didn't think to ask. It was very buttered and obviously delicious. There was also a fruit stick that came with the dish however I tried the strawberry and it had no flavor but the cantaloupe was good and the melon dew was ok and the pineapple was sweet. As far as decor and cleanliness I was so impressed with the atmosphere honestly. It seems like a classy restaurant within a 5 star hotel. It was a beautiful sight for the eyes and so clean and calming. Very quiet place with excellent washrooms and great service. What I ordered was 13.00 or something before the cheese and I guess worth it because it was a big portion especially with the fruit stick added on. It came up to like 18.00 though somehow I guess because cheese was an additional 2.00 and with no drink it was kind of depressing lol. I would recommend taking ur time here and once u get the food just sit a while before indulging. Don't go when ur starving on a timed lunch break. Next time I will bring my mom and try some other stuff.
