The ambiance at The Oxley is English gastro pub, warm and inviting, with lots of chatter and happy patrons. We've eaten here a few times, and the food is always good, sometimes very good. It's a great spot in Yorkville to bring friends and family for a laid back lunch or dinner experience.
The Oxley had perhaps the best fish and chips I've had outside of the ones I had when I was in London. Service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try other things.
Good English Pub<br/ <br/ Visited for a beer after work and very impressed. Stylish and well laid out inside, excellent patio to people watch on Yorkville. Excellent service and a good selection of beers. Plan to come back for dinner.
I have been dining at The Oxley for a couple of years now and it is a very warm, cozy, and inviting place. My favorite dish is the vegetarian Mushroom Pithivier. The wine list includes many Ontario choices, although I believe there are better wine regions out there. The bartender makes a pretty good classic martini and the servers are friendly, efficient, and professional. The prices are reasonable. Overall, The Oxley is one of my top ten restaurants in Toronto.
