Our second time here. Spent a Sunday afternoon in Toronto, Thoroughly enjoy this quaint place. Friendly staff. Great food once again. Menu is fairly extensive, The Shepard pie is amazing, flavorful. The special of the day was the Halibut fish and chips, absolutely delicious. The chef here knows his food, everything we've eaten here has been cooked perfectly. Kudos to him. Relaxing friendly atmosphere to have A drink... View all feedback.

If you are looking for a beer, I'd say maybe. I can't comment on the beer because I didn't have one. We had a light lunch and thankfully we didn't waste much of our money. Over priced and below standard of food. We ordered fish tacos and poutine. Fish in the taco was so small and so over cooked it was nasty. Couldn't finished it and the dollop of rice they gave was beyond edible. Poutine was smothered in gravy and wa... View all feedback.

I visited on 8/6 with my husband. We found the menu to be varied with a little more choice than similar pubs. The food was wholesome and inviting. If in the area would recommend a visit.
I love this place and go for lunch regularly when in Toronto and near the market. The place is kind of dark and sad looking and could use a face-lift but the food is awesome. I often have the Cubano sandwich which is a take on the classic Cuban sandwich but with roasted pork tenderloin or the Milano with roasted chicken and sweet caramelized onions. Yum! They are accompanied by really good fries obviously made on site, not frozen. Next time I'm going to try the Bison burger with blue cheese.
We stopped in on our way to a hockey game. Food was good. Service was great. Very nice place to eat or have just have a drink.
I thought as we approached...yet another english pub. I was pleasantly surprised, the service was great, love the high beams and lamplight post. My son had the hamburger and french fries, I ordered the spinach grilled chicken salad, the salad was very good! The place has been in business for 30 years the server mentioned. My son has already planned a return for chicken wings...rumour has it they are excellent..for beer lovers, many taps to choose from. For us who prefer wine, the place does indeed support local vineyards! Another great spot discovered downtown for a quick bite.
