Contribute FeedbackFriendly Thai is a popular spot in Toronto that offers amazing Thai food with a wide variety of options, from Curry Phad Thai to avocado peanut stir fry and green curry. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. While some past issues with the staff were noted, recent changes in management have improved the overall experience. The restaurant is praised for its delicious and flavorful dishes, especially the curry pad thai, which has left customers dreaming about leftovers. While not claiming to be authentic, Friendly Thai delivers on taste and quality, making it a go-to place for cheap and delicious Thai-style food.
I ADORE this restaurant. My boyfriend and I come here every week because the servers are attentive, friendly and prompt, the restaurant is uncrowded, the food arrives quickly, and above all, it is so delicious!! I will start by saying that I don 't know how 'authentic ' it is and I have never been to Thailand, but in my experience it 's the best Thai food I 've ever had. <br/ <br/ We have had the pad thai, curry pad thai, curry fried rice, green curry chicken and beef, spring rolls, and chicken curry soup. Absolutely everything was great flavourful, creamy, tons of peanuts on the pad thai, and my curry pad thai was absolutely piled with shrimp at least 10 shrimp on the plate! <br/ <br/ Final word: can 't comment on authenticity, but 10/10 for deliciousness. I 'm dreaming about my pad thai leftovers now... ;
Earlier staff issues were resolved with a change in management. The food is good, if not inspired, standard thai fair, with dining in nice enough for a casual dinner, and quick takeout as an alternative. My room mates and I are hooked on the curry pad thai, and it's one of our regular haunts in the junction.
Ordered delivery using Uber eats. Got the curry phad Thai and Thai spicy crispy chicken. Both were amazing. Will order again
Really disappointed by the Pad Thai here, the standard non Thai style red sauced Pad Thai with absolutely no tamarind flavourJust red sauce and chilli.
I don't really know where to begin with this review.__Food: 3/5Pretty bland, no real taste, nothing "authentically Thai" about it AT ALL.
