We just happened to stop here because we were in the neighborhood and we wound up having a terrific experience. All of our burgers were fantastic, and my daughter declared the "Ultimate Burger" the best burger she's had in her life. What Rebcan doesn't like about The Burger Cellar:
Had lunch here the other day. We were seated in a booth with a seat that was repaired by a large amount of duct tape. Over the course of our meal the tape melted into my pants. The pants are now ruined as it's the consistency of gum. This is not a cheap burger place $15+ burgers, fries purchased separately). The duck poutine was tasty! My husband and I both had the BCB (I had Angus beef and he had prime rib); they were a bit heavy handed on the BBQ sauce but otherwise the burger was delicious.
Great neighbourhood restaurant. Lively atmosphere. Great food and wonderful service!
My girlfriend and I used to go to BC nearly every week. However, over the past year or so, we haven 't been back. We decided it was time to return. We were both worried after reading recent reviews that the place was sliding downhill. Nevertheless, we booked for a Friday night. I 'm happy to report that we were not disappointed by the meal or the service. Everything was basically the same... Same great BC burger; same great sweet potato fries; same milkshake; same great service. My only complaint was the noise. While the noise is probably the same as before, i 've moved another year closer towards being a grumpy old man!
Service was OK we were there at an odd time 2:30. Sweet potato fries were amazing. My friend had the turkey burger and loved it. She said you would never guess it was turkey. My burger was good but the bun was very dry and crumbling apart. Great beer on tap. Decor was generic, nothing special.
I ordered the slider threesome,it wasn’t aa good as the last time I was there... but the sweet chili chicken is the bomb! I enjoyed it
