A highly regarded local favorite, and I can see why. Small family owned business serving traditional Chinese foods. No reservations, long lines during peak hours. Once seated quick and friendly service. The food was up to expectation, we would have liked to try other options but were just there for a quick lunch. What User dislikes about Swatow Restaurant:
Food tasty but highly overpriced for the quantity they serve. Ordered beef with onion and ginger for takeout. $20.99 tax. When I opened it at home I was appalled at the quantity. Not possible for 2 ppl to share the plate. Can see the bottom of the container. It was that little. Then they only accept cash. Who carries cash in this digital age. If u take from their ATM that means another charge on u. Too expensive and... View all feedback.
One of the best dim sum places! Go here with your friends, very nice vibes. It was buzzing even at 2 am on a sunday night not during vacations lol
My all time favorite restaurant. Great food, old school Cantonese style restaurant. I recommend lobster shrimp sauce with fried ricen and chili fry chicken wings.
Believe these reviews.. UNBELIEVABLE FOOD. Flavour, value, authenticity. True Chinese food teeming with freshness and succulence. The entire trip to Toronto was made by this restaurant. WAIT THE 15-30 MINUTES INSTEAD OF GOING NEXT DOOR OR ELSEWHERE. Promise it is so worth it.The balance of garlics and chiles and ginger and umami and everything in every dish was simply PERFECT. Best Chinese food in Canada swear to god.

Must try.... Food is really good they serve a different variety of food from rice to noodles pork beef fish vegetables.... service is fast our order take about 15 minutes This restaurant is likely a family own business and stuff are most likely relatives. The restaurant is not so big about 10 to 12 table.... Price is reasonable. Serving is enough . We are not able to finish the food so we take out the remaining food and finish it at night in our hotel You can really taste and smell the food was cook in chinese wok pan with high heat and stir fry. Fast cooking made the vegetables crunchy at and meat tender and juicy and the fried rice soft inside and smell the smoke outside. Its really chinese way of cooking. Usually most chinese restaurant in canada are often chinese Cantonese. They are really good in cooking... I was a little bit upset with the attitude of this front deck stuff frowning face at all time. She should not be in the front deck of an business in the first place how can you attract customers to come in if that is you attitude toward customers. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
