Located in a neighborhood with limited dining options, this sushi restaurant offers good sushi at reasonable prices. While the service can be spotty and the rolls could be better rolled, overall it provides a nice dining experience. The menu offers a variety of options covering both adventurous and traditional choices, with delicious sushi that caters to every palate. However, some reviewers have complained about slow delivery times and inconsistency in the quality of the food. Overall, it seems that this restaurant could be a hit or miss depending on the timing and the dishes selected.

Was Kristin at Sushi Style a mag?
We got take out and it was good! My friend who's had it before said it wasn't as good as it was last time, but for my first time I liked it. The sashimi was super thick, although it was the basic tuna and salmon, nothing unique. The maki were well made and with a thin layer of rice which I love. I hate when places wrap maki with too much rice lol. I recommend the scallopmon roll- it was warm and huge and delicious. O... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Sushi Style:
This order wasn’t suppose to come, the app was showing an error message. The foodora app never confirmed that the resteraunt was preparing my food or that it was being delivered I messaged you yesterday and I haven’t heard a response since I would like a refund. When I noticed the app wasn’t working and that resteraunts were “currently unavailable” I quickly ordered from another food delivery app and received my orde... View all feedback.
We loved Sushi Style for lunch. The staff were friendly and kind and the sushi was great! Plus, they had unusual (and tasty) tea instead of the usual green: Genmaicha! It's green tea with toasted brown rice, which gives it a nice, distinctive flavor. A fun experience all around and literally around the corner from our hotel!
If you're in the neighborhood, your options are limited. Luckily, sushi has good sushi at reasonable prices. Service was spotty, and the rolls could have been rolled better, but overall was a nice dinner.
Been here a couple of times now for lunch and dinner. Almost missed the entrance a few times as it doesn't stand out from the rest of the store fronts. Food is consistent. Had better Japanese but its not bad. Average $35-40 for a meal for two. They serve ramen noodles, but I would suggest heading across the street to Santouka Ramen if that's what you're craving. Otherwise its licensed, relatively clean and delivers.
I recently visited Sushi Style while hanging out near a friend’s place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Maki Set B, which comes with a miso salad, eight pieces each of California roll, spicy salmon roll, and dynamite roll. I also added a side of broccoli tempura; one of my personal favourites. The good: the sushi tasted fresh, which is always appreciated. The ingredients seemed good quality, and the broccoli tempura was nicely done, crispy and satisfying without being overly greasy. However, there were a few drawbacks. The rolls crumbled as soon as I picked them up, which made eating them with chopsticks more frustrating than it should be (and I’m pretty skilled with chopsticks). The construction of the rolls could definitely use improvement. Even more concerning: I found a fish bone in the spicy salmon roll. It was a minor one, but still something to be cautious about. Overall, Sushi Style has potential, especially if you're nearby and craving sushi. But between the delicate assembly and the fish bone surprise, I’d say it’s a mixed experience, decent, but not without its flaws. Service: Takeaway Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Avocado rolls, cucumber rolls etc
No matter, what day, what month, who’s working, what season, or bad weather, sushi style always gives there %100! It’s super good food especially the chicken cutlet and any of their sushi. I’ve ordered take out (pick up and delivery) as well as I’ve sat inside and they are always wonderful. This place is a gem in the downtown core and has been there for me on nights where I couldn’t even take care of myself. They are speedy and graceful, the atmosphere feels homely and they are very attentive even with takeout orders. The thing I love most is that no matter what they are putting you first. I’ve had times where I came in for a pick up order and at the same time a very rude uber eats driver was demanding his food. They were sooooo good at mediating the situation where both me and the delivery driver got attention and was handled so smoothly. This place needs to be protected at all cost!! Especially amazing for student downtown and families. PLEASE BE KIND AND TIP WELL! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Lots of different veggie dishes and tofu. Dietary restrictions: They’re so great that I bet they could make substitutions if needed. I don’t like shrimp tempura and they usually will give me yams instead
