Sunset Grill on Wellington Avenue offers a budget-friendly breakfast option near the Ritz-Carlton with a decent egg sandwich and home fries. Despite being a favorite breakfast spot for some, recent experiences have been disappointing with slow service, lukewarm food, and unclean washrooms. However, for those looking for a solid breakfast at a good price in downtown with friendly staff and a variety of menu options, this restaurant is worth considering. The chain restaurant boasts of no pre-cooked items and fresh orange juice daily, making it a convenient and affordable alternative to pricey hotel breakfasts in the area. With delicious food ranging from scrambled eggs to French toast to omelettes, coupled with quick service and reasonable prices, Sunset Grill remains a popular choice for many breakfast-goers in town.

Was Anonym at Sunset Grill a mag?
A fun little place that is particularly great for breakfast. They even have an all-day breakfast menu for those of us who love breakfast just that much! Not high dining, but a quick little place to grab a bite and catch up with a friend. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Sunset Grill:
We went here only because the Diner next door had a kitchen fire and was closed. So I thought how can they mess up simple breakfast? Well they did. The server forgot our fruit cocktail, they never offered any refills on coffee, and they had no maple syrup for our pancakes, which were from a mix. View all feedback.

Sunset Grill on Wellington Avenue was the closest place to where I was staying that I could find an affordable breakfast. I ordered an egg sandwich. Scrambled eggs were inside the sandwich and home fries came with the order. It was edible, and nothing more.My advice - breakfast at the Sunset Grill on Wellington, it's better than nothing.

Restaurant is clean, service is good and most of the time fast, food is good (except the sausages - don't like those). Good place downtown if you feel like having breakfast for lunch.

Having been recommended by friends we ate 4 times and each visit was good. Great choice and value with large portions. Freshly squeezed orange juice.

My friend and I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from my Airbnb host. It was quite loud with the lunch crowd arriving around 11am and 12pm, but that was not a problem for us. We ordered pancakes, waffles, eggs, and potatoes, which were all very tasty. However, we were a bit put off when we saw the waitress and chef touching the pancakes with their hands - not very hygienic! They were handling tables and other items before touching the food without washing their hands. It was a bit strange and gross. Despite the food being delicious, this experience will be our first and last visit to this restaurant.

Very friendly staff and great food. It's our regular place to go if we go for breakfast. Also free parking at the Shopper's next door.
