The 2 servers seemed overwhelmed and it just seemed to take a long time to get anything. We eventually had to get up and grab our own jam for the toast which by that time was cold. The place was dirty. Table was sticky. Cutlery looked only half washed. The eggs were perfectly cooked but honestly if that's your main menu item then I hope you should be able to nail that. Will try a cheaper place the next time we want to treat ourselves to a breakfast out.

She took the time despite how busy the restaurant was to ensure we were ok. Space is a bit narrow getting around and could be quite awkward depending. The location is not designed to accommodate a stroller or walker assistance. The kitchen area is located at the front and the washrooms are downstairs. The atmosphere is a bit dim with a skylight located at the rear sitting areas. All and all the setup is typical to the area. Location is great with a walking distance away from the beaches and board walk. Good spot for a weekend breakfast.

The coffee is served in a... read more The breakfast at this restaurant is always delicious. It includes three eggs, four strips of bacon, tasty home fries, and Texas toast. The coffee is served in a small cup. At $11.00, it's a reasonable price for a beachside meal. Be sure to arrive early, around 10 or 11 o'clock, as there is often a line.

My friends and I stumbled upon the original Sunset Grill in the middle of nowhere and were pleasantly surprised by how infrequently our family visits this gem.... read more My friends and I stumbled upon the original Sunset Grill in the middle of nowhere and were pleasantly surprised by how infrequently our family visits this gem. With two of my children away at camp and one at a hockey training camp, I decided to treat my daughter and myself to a breakfast date. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (which my 10-year-old daughter approved of) and my daughter chose the all-day breakfast. Both dishes were delicious, although the hollandaise sauce was slightly overcooked. We will definitely make more of an effort to support local businesses like this in the future.
