Smoque and Bones, located in Baldwin Village, is a hidden gem that I recently discovered and it is truly a treasure! If you enjoy high-quality smoked meat and bourbon cocktails, this is a must-visit spot in Toronto. The cocktail and appetizer menu is incredibly unique, featuring a mix of whisky, cornbread, root beer, orange crush, and smoked meat dishes that are brined for days. It is the perfect spot for a date night, with a staff that is so welcoming that you may find yourself staying until closing time and even joining them for live music in Kensington Market afterwards. The knowledgeable Irish mixologist is a standout, able to share details about the mineral density and origin of your drinking water. Smoque and Bones offers an unforgettable experience that is truly priceless. I definitely plan on returning for more good times and great memories.
We ordered the BBQ for 2 plate and it was fantastic. The ribs, pulled pork, and Turkey sausage were all delicious! I'm usually not a fan of Brussel sprouts, but their roasted Brussel sprouts were exceptional. The homemade BBQ hot sauce was delicious, I think they should bottle it and sell it! I would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone in search of amazing BBQ.
The meal was fantastic, the cocktails were top-notch, and the prices were reasonable. We had a wonderful time.
The food is good, I like the music they had playing, and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant was really nice. The table is a little small but we did order quite a lot of food for two. The portions are very shareable. Their brisket is really soft, the pulled pork and the ribs were superb. The sides and the cocktails were pretty good too. Their coleslaw was our dinner favourite. My s/o disliked ribs but the ones here made him change his mind. It's a nice place to enjoy barbeque! There is stree
Ordered ribs and salad ahead of time, and they prepared it exactly on time. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Excellent quality of ribs! Superb texture on the ribs and the sauce was also on point. The side we ordered, beet salad, tasted quite fresh. Parking is a bit tough, but then again it is Queen St… All in all, would visit again, perhaps for a dine-in next time.
