I was so impressed... read more I had lunch at this restaurant this afternoon and had a very pleasant experience! The food was delicious and both servers were very friendly. I was so impressed that I felt compelled to leave a review when I got home. I was surprised to see some negative reviews, as the prices are quite reasonable compared to average Toronto prices. Some reviews suggested going to The Keg instead, which I found to be a bit strange as they were comparing a casual eatery to a steakhouse chain. The service was fantastic, with super nice and attentive servers. I couldn't ask for more from my server! I was very happy with the service I received. We tried the Skyline Club and Classic Club, both of which were delicious. The CafeTO terrace was a nice touch, with beautiful plants making it a comfortable outdoor space. This restaurant has an unpretentious, old school vibe with excellent service. The city could definitely use more relaxed places like this. I will be back soon.

I went for a Saturday brunch with a friend and it has definitely become a new favorite. The food was perfectly prepared and the butler steak I got was cooked perfectly which is hard to find even in an upscale restaurant. I totally recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for good food and a place with a bit of history.

I loved the typical brunch dishes and the beautiful atmosphere of sitting on the terrace. It's your usual breakfast fare, but sometimes that's all you need! The vegetarian substitution for avocado was delicious.
