Minami has a beautiful interior and has a very refined atmosphere with incredibly well trained staff. They are wheelchair accessible and have accessible bathrooms as well, checking off so many boxes. Lovely atmosphere, good dining experience overall, fresh foods with a unique twist. Overall we really enjoyed the freshness of each dish, came to try the Christmas tasting menu at 120pp. The steak sirloin was melt in your mouth delicious, the fish was perfectly paired with wasabi and toppings, and everything was cooked to perfection. Service was good, but not exceptional. Presentation was well done overall. Was it a nice meal? Yes, absolutely. Was it worth the value? Probably not. It was a 3 course tasting menu for pretty heft price tag.
Ambience was great and the decor was impressive as well. The sushi was amazing. The wine was amazing and my most favourite was the dessert. I had the coconut pie and hands down one of my top favourite desserts in the world. So deliciously warm on the outside with cold ice cream in the middle And the taste of the bananas hit so good. Highly recommend this place. And will be back for many rounds of that dessert.
