Love the food but only if you go in and get it made in the spot, otherwise the service needs lots of improvement- slow to deliver and likelihood of wrong orders getting delivered - sad bc the food is great View all feedback.
What Shannon M dislikes about Roywoods:
I like the jerk chicken usually, but this time, I got the chicken curry combo- large. ItWas not good at all. Bland and portion was bad. Barely any chicken and a whole container of rice. Don’t get the combos and don’t get the chicken curry. Stick to the jerk chicken. This location serviceIs meh, service is meh, portions are meh View all feedback.
I had dinner tonight at Roywoods. I have passed by it a few times and have been curious to try it out. I decided to go with the jerk chicken, as it is one of my favorite dishes.
I ordered the chicken wings, and they were burnt to a crisp... it seems like the chef must have forgotten about them. I will not be ordering from here again.
When I ordered, there was no indication that I was getting a small meal. But the quality and taste was great.
During a business trip, I was searching for a restaurant that served authentic West Indian cuisine and I found it at Roywoods. The experience was amazing in every aspect. Alicia, thank you for your hospitality and making us feel so welcomed. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family.
The Customer service is amazing, with greetings and talking. I was confused in what to get but they really helped me select after giving me some samples to try. The Fried stuff from the kitchen takes around 10 mins to prepare and It’s worth the wait. I read some not good reviews so I had a doubt going there but the food was amazing, with no issues faced. Definitely would recommend to try Jerk/Bbq sandwich and I got to know that you could do 2 meats(half and half in a large plate as well.Vegetarian options: For Vegetarian options I got to know about Calaloo(Collard Greens , and Vegetarian Pesto Sauce Pasta. And some sides are vegetarian too.
