Red Chilli Thai Restaurant - Toronto

Our server was Ze and he couldn't have been more attentive. From regularly checking whether we needed more water to bringing extra napkins when my friend accidentally dropped hers on the floor, Ze was a pleasure to have around. Our food was very good. I...had the Beef in Oyster Sauce and it was delicious. My friend had the Chicken Phad Thai and enjoyed it very much. We ordered the salad rolls as a starter, which were tasty. The food came very quickly and was nice and hot. I will definitely be back

In my search for the best Thai food in the area, I stumbled upon Red Thai Chili. I have always graded a Thai place with the quality of their Pad Thai. This dish is very low quality. The dish is dry and lacking sauce. Also...authentic Pad thai certainly does not have carrots and celery as part of the dish. It is cheap and reflected in the food. The fried egg roll is definitely not house made and came from a frozen box. There are many thai food place in the area. I would not consider this as one of them

I ordered the Pho Tak (lemon seafood soup) Pho Tak was not as advertised: sprimp, squid, mussels crab meat Mussels were not in the dish the “crab meat” was actually imitation crab sticks I do not recommend this restaurant

First visit here this week, quite by accident as the Sala Thai Restaurant next door we were planning on going is not open Mondays. It was a good opportunity to check out Red Chilli and despite its less than appealing exterior, the inside space is...clean, bright and the service was friendly and helpful. There was a faint smell of smoke in the air and when we inquired we were told that that had been a fire there or years back?? In any event, the waiter was friendly. The food came quite quickly and was pretty tasty. Had the green mango salad to start and a delicious coconut curry with avocado and tofu. The spice was just right and I enjoyed every last spoonful

Okay. The food at Red Chilli Thai was decent. Cheap and a good portion. No liquor licence no AC. Right next door is Sala's which for some reason I cannot bring up on TripAdvisor. Their food is amazing! The masamura curry was sublime and wonderfully...presented. Cannot wait to go back. Again no AC. Liquor license yet. They do a brisk take out business as well. Go
