Description

Nestled within the bustling Bayview Village Mall, a new restaurant offers a diverse culinary adventure that has garnered mixed reviews from diners. While some praised the ample portions and delightful flavors—highlighting standout dishes like tender lamb leg bao and flavorful beef massaman curry—others expressed disappointment over inconsistencies in service, spice levels, and drink offerings. The atmosphere, largely quiet after mall hours, enhances the dining experience despite some initial hiccups. Overall, while the restaurant shows promise with its creative menu and welcoming staff, improvements in service and consistency could elevate it to a must-visit destination.

We visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and overall, we had a nice experience. The dishes on the summerlicious menu were enjoyable, and the baos were particularly fantastic. However, the dessert, which was a semolina cake, turned out to be quite dry. Despite being a large group, we found the service lacking, even though the restaurant was empty at the time. The curry was quite mild, and the Hakka noodles needed some salt, which we had to add ourselves. On the positive side, the ambience was pleasant. All in all, it was a good experience.

For dessert, the burnise semolina cake and chai cheesecake provided a wonderful conclusion to the meal! I highly recommend opting for the Summerlicious menu; we calculated that it saves you $10, which is definitely a bonus!

Delicious food! We got the dynamite shrimp and lamb leg baos and their signature noodle dish with chicken (pictured) and the flavours were so engaging on our palate. The service was top notch too. And we will definitely be back.

What a delightful find! This Indian/Chinese restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The Shrimp and Curry Chicken we ordered were absolutely scrumptious. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable evening. One of the standout features of this restaurant is its affordable prices. Despite the incredible quality of the food and the cozy setting, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. It's refreshing to find a place that offers such delicious cuisine without breaking the bank.To top it all off, the service was friendly and attentive. The staff made us feel welcomed and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a cozy haven of deliciousness that won't drain your wallet, this Indian/Chinese restaurant is the place to go. We highly recommend it for a fantastic dining experience that satisfies both your taste buds and your budget!Parking: Bayview village parking

I’ve eaten a lot of Burmese tea leaf salad and this was a VERY poor substitute for the real thing. It was mushy and very light on the key nutty ingredients that give the salad texture.Service was also subpar. The atmosphere was fine but it’s located in a mall so there isn’t much to work with…Don’t go out of your way for this restaurant thinking it’s the only Burmese restaurant in Toronto. It’s not good.
