great! These mini-pies are full of good ingredients that they look small but they are filled. a bit expensive, but a great option for a light, healthy snack. this pop-up location in oshawa will not be there long, so check it while. they can. much better than the fake food dish. they also have a few tables. The food is tasty comfort food, but the experience is shallow. If there was more to this place than just meat/dessert pies, it wasn’t communicated to us. For the kind of shop it is, it couldn’t hurt to also have a heavier, food challenge-ish option...on the menu. Take some liberties? I don’t know, I like the place, but it needs more. The savory pies at this restaurant are fantastic! They are flaky and packed with flavor. The menu is constantly changing, offering a variety of new options. The Thanksgiving Pie is a standout, incorporating all the flavors of a turkey dinner in one delicious pie. Filled with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, it is truly amazing. The new jerk chicken pie is also very tasty. The coffee is top-notch as well. The staff is friendly and well-informed about their products. Overall, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you receive.
I quickly stopped by this restaurant for lunch and was impressed by their wide selection of pies. It took me a few minutes to choose, but I ultimately decided on the jerk chicken pie. While the flavor wasn't exactly like traditional jerk chicken, it was still delicious. The buttery and flaky pie crust really made it stand out.
These are awesome pies ! You'll. Enjoy hooked right away. I had a selection of pies with some friends sweet chilli chicken nice and spicy. Egg and bacon delicious ! Banana chocolate... Quality ingredients, really great pastry, friend service and inexpensive. Go...now ! Also available frozen and boxed. I now have a dozen in my freezer waiting for a comfort food day...
Had pulled pork...and cherry tart. Both very good. Pies are bigger than expected/photo would suggest.
I tried the steak and cheese pie and it was delicious. The flaky crust encased the well-cooked filling perfectly, providing a nice balance of flavors. The restaurant was clean and felt spacious despite its small size. While my favorite soap cake is still only available in Australia, Pie Squared is a great alternative that doesn't require a trip abroad.
