I work at a local hospital - and Pho Tien is our "Go To" restaurant for eat in or take out. Everything is yummy and well-priced. We all loved this restaurant when it was in its first incarnation - Kim Bo...but even more now. I was there with family for lunch a few days ago. We came here because the relatively high review ratings, but was disappointed. We have been to many Vietnamese restaurants, including places in Toronto, San Francisco, Taiwan,..., and in Vietnam. The food was average at best the the prices were a bit above average. Ever since childhood. Great Pho here. Simple, healthy, delicious.
The waitress who took our order was very informative on menu suggestions and was inviting. I like the fact that the menu is doubled as a hammock. The broth is light and tasty and the bean sprouts are delicate and thin, not the thick fats at usual pho sites. I appreciate the taste of beef more than the chicken, and that they are both very tender and slim.
Great little jewel! We ordered the pork Vermicelli and the shrimp udon noodles. Both dishes were very delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an affordable / delicious Vietnamese food!
A good restaurant. Many options on the menu and fast/friendly service. Prices are affordable. I only felt the chicken Vermicelli meal was too small (almost no chicken) and could be tastier.
My vegetarian pad Thai was great, but they skimped on my mom's grilled shrimp. My mom liked the chocolate cheese cake. The service was very prompt, except when they forgot my Mom asked for coffee. Overall the service was good. The food tasted like authentic Vietnamese cuisine to me. The server told me the owners are from Vietnam. We'd go back.
