Tried the Curry Brisket pho for the first time and fell in love. The menu states brisket but they use sliced beef instead. I think it would definitely taste better with brisket pieces.
I was quite excited to go to this place as I’ve heard great reviews about it. I made sure that when I ordered my chicken soup pho that I requested no cilantro. The waitress and another waiter told me that they do not use cilantro in that restaurant.When my order arrived to me, it was filled with floating green leaves, but because they said they have no cilantro in this restaurant I thought It would be ok.I proceeded to eat my food, but couldn’t because it tasted identical to cilantro. I asked the waitress what it was and she told me that it’s called finger mint which I just found out is actually Vietnamese cilantro.The waitress said to me, you don’t like it? Just don’t ask for it next time.I just wish that the establishment was more educated on what ingredients are, and what is going into the meals. I’m allergic to cilantro and it’s made me sick.
