We joined several couples for an evening out at Parcae. The ambience was pleasant, although it became loud as the room filled up and thus hard to hear those even beside you. Maybe too many hard surfaces.Beware: cocktails (we had a Manhattan) start at $18! That's a rip off.The tuna appetizer was a bit bland. Not sure what it needed, but something should happen to kick it up a notch. The duck ravioli was amazing..properly seasoned, crispy bits on top, lovely braised duck filling. Our branzino filet was lovely too. Perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned and finished simply with lemon and olive oil. I'm not a fan peanut butter desserts, but the rest of the table found it delicious... really rich.Service was fun, engaged and helpful.

Went to Parcae with a group of friends, and while I appreciate the detail and care that goes into preparing the dishes and the attempt to use local ingredients, the food just does not live up to the hype or price point. I will pay top dollar for a restaurant experience and food when it is worth it. The prices are way off here, and they are trying too hard to do something fancy and different. I would not recommend Parcae nor would I ever go back. (Any why is one big ravioli such a big deal? Its much more work to make many smaller ones...) Also, I love love lamb, the lamb ragu was a huge disappointment. It was missing everything.
