The menu is core diner. My husband usually orders the all day breakfast and I order the pemeal sandwich (oink). Well priced. Good vibe. Upbeat staff. Sit down restaurant. Well positioned in the market. View all feedback.
What Darrell Parsons dislikes about Paddington's Pump:
My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We sat and the waitress brought us menus. For 10 minutes she would look at me, grab menus, see we had them, put hers back and walk off. We left after 10 minutes of no service and they were not busy! I think it could have been racially motivated. Stay away! View all feedback.

The pea bacon sandwich is stunning! It's very hearty and flavourful! Meat to bread ratio is just perfect! And great value too!
I was not pleased with the experience, particularly due to the unfriendly demeanor of the waitress, who has been working there for 25 years. She seemed to frequently mix up orders and was overall quite unwelcoming.
Awesome sandwiches, thick bread, quality ingredients, and great fries. Try the oink on a bun or their massive club sandwich.

Went to Paddington's this weekend and had one of the best breakfasts ever!!! The staff were great and the food was amazingly fresh!!! They had the best sausage links on planet earth. Will be back next time we are in town!!!!!
Best breakfast in town, had the French toast, staff are nice and friendly, great place.
First time here based on the recommendation of my best friends. They did not let me down and neither did Paddington Pump. A midst delicious easy to start one's day!
The food was excellent. Can't wait to go back during our next trip to Toronto. Note: If you love gravy. Their gravy is the best I've ever had.

Perfect location to enjoy the morning for the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. All options at this St Lawrence Market location indoor and outdoor seating and carry out. Peameal sandwiches the go to for sure. Full bar. Located at the 21K mark of the marathon route. Catch the runner coming at the halfway mark and down the stretch with just a couple of kilometers left on the way to the finish.

Had breakfast and lunch here several times. No nonsense place. Friendly staff, prompt service and reasonable prices. Don’t expect haute cuisine but a hearty meal and you won’t be disappointed. Weather permitting, there is also a terrace at the sun side which is very pleasant.
Got the breakfast bun to go with all the toppings. It was good. Also tried some peameal bacon sandwich which was also good. Chips and onion rings we got were very soggy though. I’d still recommend going to try here, I would return but maybe sit in next time.
This place has a decent outdoor patio and is in a very good location. I was looking forward to my black bean burger with guacamole and mixed fresh greens salad. Imagine my disappointment when the meal arrived as a dry looking machine formed thin patty sitting on top of a heap of iceberg lettuce. No guacamole. Of course i thought the cook forgot. But no, I was told that they stopped using guacamole because it “got brown” too quickly. Of course I sent it all back and had no meal. The server was exceptional. The food was not. I do not recommend this place. There are better pus in the area.
This restaurant is a reference to the Paddington Bear. I was not expecting the burger to be the size that it was! It's a big boy! Unfortunately the size does not make up for the lack in quality in terms the burger. The one thing this restaurant gets perfect, is the fries. They were great! With that being said, that was a very disappointing burger. The bread selection for the burger was interesting. However, it does nothing for the improvement in taste of the rest of the ingredients. The meat is very dry, the bacon too stringy, the tomatoes have no taste.
Worst experience ever. Was looking to try a new breakfast place and what a disappointment. Our server was useless. The hipster looking guy with a man bun was a complete right off. I get you’re busy but if I wanted fast food speed service i would go to McDonald’s. Took him forever to even take our order. His abrupt rushed behaviour was very off putting. Once we eventually placed our order we waited for about 20-30 mins for food which never arrived. That’s on top of the 15-20 min wait from when we sat down. 45 mins for food?! No thank you. I paid for my tea and left And the man bun had the audacity to antagonize me and was trying to be extra polite and said “have a great day” loudly so everyone could hear him. Get some manners on how to serve people. So disgusted with this place. Don’t waste your time or money The only decent person in there was the lady who sat us with the red ish hair in a ponytail. She was actually pleasant. The rest were a waste Also they are not following covid protocol. No six feet distancing. I think we were barely a foot away from tables all around us. Horrible horrible experience If I could give a zero I would but that’s not an option on here We ended up going to cherie bistro which was fantastic. The attached picture is from there and not this dive that we needed up at. Amazing service there and amazing food
