Was Anonym at One 2 Snacks a mag?
Upon walking up to the doors, you would never guess this place, other than the long loyal line ups , had great authentic Malaysian food. Looks are deceiving from outside. This Eight seater restaurant is designed for take out. Call your orders in ahead. My favs are laksa spicy noodle soup. Order it with half vermicelli half yellow round noodles. One of the best i've had, including Singapore and Malaysia. Hokkien mee n... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about One 2 Snacks:
There were all the rage when we first discovered them. A whole in the wall that served authentic Malaysian hawker fare with good sized portions. As time went by, it seems like their portions have decreased, especially when it comes to the ingredients in the laksa and KL hokkien mee. I guess it's hard to keep up with the demand. Oh, and the char koay teow shouldn't have meat in it, although the crispy pork lard is alw... View all feedback.

This restaurant is a great choice for affordable Malaysian takeout classics. The Curry Laksa was amazing, with just the right amount of heat and complexity. The Mee Goreng was lacking in flavor and disappointing. The Curry Puff was average and had a slightly overpowering taste of cumin. I will definitely be back for the laksa and to try other items on the small but well-rounded menu at this family-owned restaurant.

This cozy restaurant offers the most delicious and authentic Malaysian cuisine in the city. It is a family-owned establishment that is still gaining popularity. They often struggle to keep up with the high demand for their dishes. Despite being incredibly affordable, it is primarily a take-out spot. The most popular items tend to sell out quickly, so it is recommended to either arrive early or place an order in advance. My family particularly enjoys their laksa and a Malaysian variation of tamales called ban gan. Additionally, the menu varies slightly on weekends compared to weekdays.

Atmosphere: This small restaurant has limited seating, with only 4 seats near the front window and possibly 2 seats on each side. Despite its size, One2Snacks is always bustling with customers, and orders can take around 30-45 minutes to be ready on busy days. Tips: ...

The dry mee siam (sour noodles) was decent, but the assam (tamarind) flavor was quite mild, lacking the necessary sourness. I added some lemon juice, which made it taste better. Additionally, there were chicken pieces included for some reason, along with the shrimp tofu puffs.

The char kway teow came with chicken, a few shrimp, spongy fish cake, egg, chives, dark sauce, and bean sprouts. There was a choice between kway teow and kway teow mee. The egg portion was decent, but I added an extra egg to enhance it.
