Old School is a very nice place, run by young and smart guys. Personally my experience was great because the "blueberry hill" was exceptional: mega pancake with lots of blueberry jam, bacon and nutmeg butter, all You can't say the same thing about my friend who ordered a "don't even go there": it cost 13 dollars and in the end consisted of a mega toast with a little cream on it. while we would have expected a thinner and wider toast in order to have a greater filling on the top, instead so it was an almost tasteless brick of bread. Very good alcoholic milkshakes even if in my opinion a little too expensive. At the table, before the milkshakes were served, we waited 40 minutes, after another 30 minutes for the food ... they also served 3 different waiters who, of course, forgot the order made to the previous waiter or made a mistake bring us pious tti that were destined for other tables. Excellent place but I would recommend some adjustments: change the "don't even go there" because there is really too much bread in relation to the seasoning; lower alcohol milkshakes by a couple of dollars; review the service because it's a bit confusing. For the good Blueberry, it's really great!
We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning with my 3 year old. We arrived at 9am and placed our order. We waited over an hour to get our breakfast. They offered us 10% off our meal for the wait which I really felt wasnt sufficient considering u could get 10% off for posting on instagram. Once the food arrived my biscuits were cold, as in out of the fridge cold. They did replace the meal. And it was ok. Definately not worth the hype
Enjoyed our breakfast. The restaurant had a cool vibe. I had poached eggs with their chipoltle (I think?) hollandaise sauce, potatoes, bacon and a biscuit. Eggs were a bit overcooked to my taste, unfortunately. The biscuit was good. Shared the lemon meringue pancakes which were tasty but very sweet (yummy if you have a sweet tooth). The sweet/sour flavors still balanced well thanks to the lemon. I would come back for breakfast/brunch again.
