Nestled in Toronto’s Corktown area, Odin Cafe + Bar is a trendy spot known for its modern Nordic aesthetic and efficient staff. While some may find the lack of drip coffee past 1 pm frustrating, the interior design and working AC earn it a solid 2-star rating. The cafe offers a variety of beverage options, including excellent coffee and craft beer, paired with delicious food choices like empanadas and brisket sandwiches. The spacious and airy atmosphere, along with unique washroom concept, provide a pleasant experience for those looking to support local coffee shops over chain establishments.

My daughter knows all the best places. We were looking for breakfast in the new Corktown area near the river, and she suggested this delightfully modern and cosmopolitan spot. It looks to be run by an Asian couple and has a decidedly clean and post-post-modern Nordic aesthetic, with lots of light and concrete and wood accents. I had the breakfast burrito and she had a pastry, which, along with a couple of fresh strong coffees, was under $20—or about what you’d pay at McDonald’s these days for a couple of breakfasts and coffee, or at the Tim Horton’s across the street, but worlds apart. They also have some quality microbrews on tap for later in the day, plus wifi and plugins for your laptop. The washrooms are nice and clean as well, with a large communal sink. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

No drip coffee past 1pm???!!! Only options were americano or iced. What coffee shop worth their salt doesn't sell coffee after 1?? Anyway, i settled on ICED which led to the following exchange: Me: So what coffee do you use for the iced coffee? Barista: We use the drip coffee. Me: Well what's the drip coffee? Barista: It depends on the day, on Mondays we use...Me: Dude, what's my coffee option right now???Barista: oh, let me check...Wow. 2 stars for a working AC and interior design. But get a clue.

This is a very open restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. You place the order at a counter and then it is brought out to you. The menu is limited but there is something for everyone. Good sandwiches - again not a great choice.

I prefer my Americano to be strong, but the one I had at this restaurant was almost like a regular brewed coffee. I'm not sure if it was just a one-time mistake. Despite enjoying the atmosphere and the incredibly friendly staff, I'm uncertain if I would return.

My daughter knows all the best spots to eat. We were searching for breakfast in the new Corktown area by the river, and she recommended this charmingly modern and cosmopolitan restaurant. It appears to be owned by an Asian couple and has a distinctly clean and contemporary Nordic design, with plenty of natural light and accents of concrete and wood. I ordered the breakfast burrito while she chose a pastry, and with a couple of freshly brewed coffees, the total bill was under $20— about the same as a meal at McDonald's or Tim Horton's, but far superior. They also offer a selection of craft beers, wifi, and outlets for your laptop. The restrooms are also well-maintained, with a spacious communal sink. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience.
