What User doesn't like about Mochica:
Had some tasty ceviche from this place at Little Italy festival. So came back for Summerlicious. Fish Tiradito and Alpaca Tartar is very good. Alpaca again for main dish and the seafood paella taste good. Desserts are Peruvian desserts but don't really like them. We sat at the few tables near the door which is way better than inside their main room which quite s pot of tables close together. View all feedback.
Called on a series of occasions, book a reservation and at no time did the voice mail indicate they were closed. on the 19th october, at 17.30 o’clock, not yet opened, the tables were provided for the service. again checked@ 19:00 clock not open. for sale sign on the building. I would not recommend this restaurant because they are probably closed. it's too bad because the menu was interesting.
Maybe if the peculiarity was more polite and apologetically for the mistakes of the kitchen, this review would be positiw. owner worked in the kitchen, so this would mean to own his own mistakes. very proud and rude. obviously has no idea how to treat the customers. all the dishes arrived room temperature instead of hot. were especially cold on the 2 bark dishes ordered. the owner refused to replace the french with a fresh batch to embarrass his gracious server and barkeeper by asking them to remove the cold french from the teller of my friend while eating the rest of the meal unlikely unprofessional and unhygienic. the food was decent, the garnel and alpaca dishes were mainly tasteful, but the cube bark dish tasted no better than a low end Chinese iron frits. the service was the biggest thing and will hold back our group of 6 from ever. also, much overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. expects a much higher end experience for the price tag.
The peculiarity was terrible, there was a problem with the meal on which the peculiarity refused to address, and in that we are harmful to enjoy a meal. our entire table was incredibly frustrated and we would refuse to come back
I brought my man here for birthday and it was absolutely incredible. the alpaca was for to die, so tender and well seasoned. you could say that everything was carefully thought out and perfectly paired for each dish. the staff was super friendly and very attentive. The Pisco sours tasted like the ones we had in cusco. well made mochica toronto! muy bueno!
Went there for summerlicious as the menu looked interesting. The potato starter was beautiful 3D and tasty. I had the 3 carnes and it was ok. The pineapple dessert was small and what a let down compared to the other dishes. Service was a...bit slow.
