Midi Bistro, a French-style bistro located near the Art Gallery of Ontario, offers a Prix Fix Menu of three courses for $45. While some feel there are better places in Toronto for $35, others praise the tasty and traditional French cuisine such as beef bourgignon and creme brulee. The service is efficient, although the lack of French-speaking servers may disappoint some patrons. The ambiance, while Parisian indoors, lacks charm on the outside terrace. Some dishes like the mussels in tomato soup and meat and cheese platters receive mixed reviews, yet standouts like the beef Moroccan tagine and Tarte Tatin are highly praised. Overall, Midi Bistro offers a diverse menu at a good price with service that could be improved in terms of authenticity and speed.

Summerlicious menu was varied and excellent price for lunch. Pate was tasty...Midi Salad was very good. Main course Duck was delicious and tender. Dessert...creme brulee was delectable. Service was good although we had to wait 20 mins for our reserved table. The place is a bit cramped, but if you know that ahead of time you'll have no surprises. Staff accommodated our special dietary requests which was greatly appreciated. Worthy of a repeat for sure

Good French food in the heart of downtown, their sauces and reductions are fantastic. Not a fan of the soups, but meat selection and desserts were really good.

The crème brûlée had a good crust but the interior texture was a bit coarse.
