Very generous servings. We always choose kid size. Lots of flavour varieties. Gets busy after supper time. Run, do not walk. Cash only.
Visited maple leaf dairy the other day, wow was that good ice cream. They make all the ice cream on premises or in the factory at the end of the street(st clair ice cream). A forklift drives it down the road lol.I suggest a single scoop per person as its the size of a softball. This is one if the best ice cream places around
The Maple Leaf Dairy is located on 2861 Danforth Ave, between Main St. and Victoria Park Ave. in Toronto's East End. They have over 30 flavors of ice cream and great value per scoop $3.50. The staff are very friendly and that place is very simple but friendly. They have some of my favorite flavors such as Coconut, Mango, Frozen Yogurt and Chocolate.
Formerly known as St. Clair Dairy, Maple Leaf Dairy is open from the May long weekend to Thanksgiving. They only accept cash payment. The service is patient as you decide on the various flavors available, and the scoop sizes are generous. This is the best ice cream you'll find anywhere. Treat yourself to an ice cream dinner - your children will thank you for it.
I recently visited Maple Leaf Dairy and was blown away by the delicious ice cream they serve. They make all their ice cream on site, or in the factory located at the end of the street (St. Clair Ice Cream). It's so fresh that they even use a forklift to transport it down the road, which I found amusing. I recommend getting a single scoop per person, as it's the size of a softball. This is definitely one of the best ice cream spots in the area.
