What User doesn't like about Maison Selby:
we start with the good, the French wobbles soup was amazing. beautiful broth and heavy on the gruyère. the service was really missing. the waiter could not tell me what bark meat was used for the tartar. I still order the beeftar, it was okay. the big piece of the sardels and the baby dill pickles should have been torn up and mixed. the juniper egg holk was nice for the presentation, but was too tiny. the cocktails a... Great place, great food. About 1000$ for full dinner for 6. Some call it a lot, Torontonians might call it a steal, you decide.
Wes was our server very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a memorable night fantastic hospitality Martin came out to say hello with a surprise cake for our anniversary and as a fellow chef his food is incredible we exchanged business card and will definitely be back in the future for more Tornado Rossini which I had and my wife had the Pernod mussel and fries we had a fabulous night Thankyou once again and keep up the amazing work
What a delicious discovery! Decor is ingenious, food is delicious, service was so beautiful and attentive and courteous, what a wonderful evening.
Beautiful local restaurant with delicious French farewell. Great ambience and living space.
It was our second visit and we really enjoyed it. It’s better than Le Select since the new owners took over. We’ll definitely be back. Our server was excellent, the food was very good and we love the decor. A new favourite spot for us.
