We had brunch here on a Sunday morning. It was busy but we found a table for 2 inside. The restaurant is in a residential area, and, to us, that definitely added to the charm of the place. It is a simple, casual place that is about the great food. Though we were there during brunch, we didn't order any of their eggs benedict offerings that are only available for brunch. We both had coffee and breakfast wraps, which w... View all feedback.
What Hanna Mitchell doesn't like about Luna Café:
My father and I had driven by this place a couple of times and finally decided to give it a try. The atmosphere and location were adorable- if I needed to rate just that my rating might have been "very good" instead. But I don't, so it's not. Breakfast you were looking at premium prices for what you were getting $11-14/item when most places in the area are at $8-11/item. My dad got a latte, I got hot chocolates. The... View all feedback.
We really enjoyed the fare at Luna. We started with Americana coffees and a Oolong tea. I had the Smoked Salmon breakfast wrap and salad which was excellent. Our daughter had the Smoked Salmon sandwich and salad which she really enjoyed. Our cousin had the Mushroom sandwich and salad which she loved. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. A very nice atmosphere in a rustic location. Lots of drop ins just for the coffee and tea's. Over 20 varieties of tea's and coffees in any way you like from capacino to espresso. We'll be back for sure!
Luna Cafe - check! Was finally able cross this off my brunch spot list and there's nothing better than finding a GREAT place to catch up with friends before taking off for the holidays. The atmosphere was almost cool/simplistic/euphoric and the food was absolutely delicious. Bottom line: if you are in the area, it's a must-go!
This is another neighbourhood restaurant that I finally got to try. There's a great patio out front, which was packed, and quite a few tables inside. The food is excellent, very tasty and enough to satisfy anyone's hunger. Unfortunately they were so busy that service was spotty, had to ask for every single thing, and we never did get napkins. Still, I would try them again.
Tucked away from the main streets of Queen or Dundas is this lovely little shop. They make a great latte and have so many fresh and, I believe, local ingredients on the menu. I had the French breakfast, which came with sausage, eggs, salad, and baguette with Brie cheese. It was delicious and incredibly filling. Fabulously small and cozy vibe with indoor seating as well as a nice patio. Will be back!
We had a great breakfast there today. The Apha breakfast, the avocado/tomato and the peameal bacon breakfast were all very good. The toast was excellent. You will think you are going to the wrong address as it is nestled in a quaint neighbourhood - and this adds the the experience. I love peameal bacon and not everyone cooks it perfects- they did and it was a thick piece to boot. It was my first visit, but my daughter has this a regular place to eat. And the prices are fair and the service was very good. I can't wait until I have a chance to go again.
