Stopped by for an "appetizer" and drinks. Service was very friendly and impressively fast. I got the Baba's classic with my pierogies boiled and was blown away how so few toppings could taste so good. They do have a 5 pierogi option (rather than the usual 8) which is not stated on the menu. My boyfriend got one with sour cream, cheese and bacon and he loved it. We plan to go back next week for a dinner and try one with lots of toppings!
Nous avons tout simplement adoré et nous recommandons à tout le monde de l'essayer! Le personnel est super et le choix est très bien varié!
For a date night, my significant other and I chose this restaurant because we love making perogies at home (they are time-consuming but oh so worth it) and our favorite pub recently stopped offering them as an appetizer, so it was time to try something new! NOTE: all the perogies are stuffed with the exact same thing- mash and cheddar, I believe. It is the things on top of the perogies that you get to choose from and what is on the menu. Not sure if anyone pointed that out, but I was confused for a minute until it was explained - silly me! My Breakfast Western featured a sunny-side egg, red peppers, bacon, swiss cheese and hollaindaise sauce (yum!). We went for classic and half crispy- unfortunately, with both of our orders, the crispy pierogies were cold/raw inside. After apologizing and explaining that the chef was still in training, we were given new orders after 10-15 minutes and they were absolutely delightful! Would certainly return and recommend.
I have been to this restaurant a few times before and it has always been very good. This was my first time at this particular location and while my loaded pierogi was delicious, I felt like it could have been more generously filled. I also tried the fried pierogi this time, but I personally prefer the soft ones.
I love the loaded pierogi. This was my first time ordering from this location. Before the pandemic, I used to go to the Union Station location. The buffalo chicken was delicious. I also tried the beef brisket, which was amazing. The deep-fried cheesecake with Skor pieces was so good that I wish I had ordered two.
