Feedback
Lee Restaurant offers a unique and memorable dining experience with innovative and well-prepared dishes. The Singaporean-style slaw is a standout dish that is highly recommended. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, although it can get noisy at times. The pricing may be considered high for some, but the quality of food justifies it. The service received mixed reviews, with some customers praising the friendly and efficient staff, while others noted issues with timing and attentiveness. Overall, Lee Restaurant is a great place to visit for a special occasion or to impress with good taste in food.
You've probably seen their ICONIC 24-ingredient slaw a million times but the hype IS real!!! It is quite literally one of the best salads I've ever had. And...
It's always a great experience at Lee, outstanding food and service.
Food was delicious but pricey. Service was outstanding everyone was very attentive.
We've eaten at Lee many times over the years at the old King West location. It was our first time at the newer (almost a year old) Waterworks location. While the food was still very good and our waiter was helpful and charismatic, the low rating is due to the ungodly slow service. It ruined our entire experience. Over 2.5hours for only 5 plates of food, served one by one with huge amounts of time in between. We waited over 30 min from ordering just to get served the slaw. Our bottle of wine was almost finished before our food even arrived. Then we waited 20 min for 2 glasses of wine to be delivered mid-meal. It got to the point that it was so ridiculous how slow the service was that my son started timing things. We had to ask repeatedly when our food would be out. While our server was friendly and did agree it was long, we were told they were very busy, all the tables had sat down at about the same time, and that they had a private party going on. These are things that a very established , long-running restaurant should be able to plan accordingly for. The service literally ruined the whole experience for us. And at the price one is paying to dine at Lee, the service needs to be as good as the food.
Overall great taste, the only complaint is the dishes came in very late and I was already full after the appetizer.
