Walking in I immediately felt a real throwback mom and pop vibe and automatically knew I was in the right place.. I struck up a conversation with the owner and he enthusiastically took my order and personally made my sandwiches...I ordered two specials and a turkey and roast beef with provolone.. After much searching and a few heartbreaks Im glad to say my prayers have finally been answered! This is my new go to spot in Toronto when I'm craving an authentic homemade deli sandwich. Not only are the portions huge but the ingredients were all high quality. The owner was passionate and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into every order.. He's very proud and I don't blame him.. These guys are the real deal. I can't wait to go back you made my day.. I live in Scarborough which is about a half an hour drive and I'm telling you right now it was worth coming uptown . ??? You've definitely made a new friend.?

Yeah, it’s worth the hype. If Carlo is working the deli, get him to make you whatever he wants. He loves what he does, and you’ll taste it in the sangwich.Everyone there is lovely as well, with a great selection of groceries (namely, a selection of Fred’s Bread that can be difficult to track down).
