Average food with mediocre staff and services, not recommended for the next visit for a person with good taste in desi food

Dropped by after my kids basketball game for some take out. The place was not that busy and I waited for about 10 min and there was no one there to take my order. I waited at the cashier where you place your order but no one would serve me. There were others waiting for their order but no one came to serve me. After 10 mins I just left

This place will do a great spicy lunch for under $10. Good Chicken Karahi, also butter chicken, Indian cheese and spinach. The mango Lassi is wonderful. Plenty of seating in a casual environment, or take out too. Not always the fastest when busy but worth the wait.

I've eaten at La Jawab weekly, since it opened about 3 years ago. I have tried about 7 different dishes over the years and it amazes me how fresh, piping hot and well made each dish is from this place. As well, they bring it to your table after you order and pay for it with very little delay. One of my favorites is the chicken biryani. It is a big helping and the rice is perfectly cooked with large portions of roasted chicken. It is fabulous and I compare it to several other restaurants I've been to and it is the best, especially for the price.All food is very reasonably priced and the ladies that serve are helpful to explain the menu items. Be sure to order the naan, you may even order extra once you finish it, because it is so fresh, hot and tasty.This is my favorite Pakistani food restaurant in Canada. I recommend you try it yourself and it is best value at lunch time, order from their daily specials list. I also love their butter chicken as it goes great with the biryani and naan. Went for lunch today. First you need to order and sit down. Tables were not clean. We ordered chicken tikka, sheesh kabab, chicken biryani and cholya. Chicken tikka didn't have taste and so did the chokya. Kabab came with lettuce which was rotten and tamaotes. Kabab was good. Chixke Briyani was the best! I would not waste my time and money to go there again.
