The menus and decor feel outdated, and the cramped seating isn't ideal for larger guests. Service is swift, lending a fast-casual vibe that lacks the relaxation expected during dinner. Although the sushi and sashimi were well-prepared—especially the salmon—the excessive sauce often masked the vibrant flavors. Diners praised friendly staff and some standout dishes, yet the experience fell short for those seeking a truly memorable meal, particularly considering the prices charged. Overall, there's potential, but room for improvement exists.
The quality of the food is decent, but given the price, it feels a bit overpriced, so I’m giving it one star less. The staff is friendly, but the place is too crowded, which means they can’t be as attentive as we'd like, and the wait times are noticeable. Our sashimi and rolls were pretty standard, but the beef tataki was a bit chewy, and the uni tasted fishy and bitter, even though it was on the pricey side.
AMAZING! I cannot praise this place enough. We went here before the raptors game and the food was amazing. The prices are so reasonable. The pear sake is unreal. I have tried a lot of sushi around and this is one of the best! The prices are amazing for the quality you get. The staff is extremely friendly as well!! I will be back
Have both eaten in the restaurant and had delivered as a takeaway and the food is delicious! Absolutley love the fire chicken karage and the salmon sushi/maki platter is to die for! Lots of choices and excellent service! Highly recommend!
The quality is fine but for that price it seems expensive so one star down for that. The staff is nice but it's too crowded so they cannot be attantive enough and the wait time is noticeable. Our sashimi and roll is pretty standard; however, the beeftataki is a little bit too chewy and the uni is fishy and bitter (even though it's costly)
Fresh sashimi and roles were delicious. Looking back I should have just gone with the sushi options. The rolls were good but had too much sauce on it, it was masking the taste of the other ingredients. I can see others liking it tho.
