While the sushi restaurant showcases fresh ingredients and generous portions, several aspects detract from its overall dining experience. The menus and decor feel outdated, and the cramped seating isn't ideal for larger guests. Service is swift, lending a fast-casual vibe that lacks the relaxation expected during dinner. Although the sushi and sashimi were well-prepared—especially the salmon—the excessive sauce often masked the vibrant flavors. Diners praised friendly staff and some standout dishes, yet the experience fell short for those seeking a truly memorable meal, particularly considering the prices charged. Overall, there's potential, but room for improvement exists.

The tofu is excellent! It has a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The salmon sushi is fresh and enjoyable. The volcano roll is decent. The miso soup is quite good as well.

Went here for a quick lunch. Sushi is fresh and amazing. Food and service is good. Price is on abit high side. Portion is small but i am ok with it.

The food was decent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Located in downtown Toronto, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's definitely worth giving it a try!

Had the kinoya course for two and it was absolutely worth it. You are very full by the end of it. Miso soup and salad were delicious. Tempura delicious. And sushi way more than we could handle. Also had the Japanese whiskey which was nice! Goodfood for good value. Nice environment too with kind servers.

Good sushi and good atmosphere. For me the The rating is a bit misleading. Yes the sushi is fresh and this is a king st w location but the restaurant atmosphere and experience was not 5 star. First impressions: Menus feel dated. Could use arefresh. We made reservations. We were seated at a banquette style table bench seating). It was pretty small for four adults. You would not be comfortable if you are larger than a size 12. Overall Experience: The food comes to the table very fast. Thedinner vibe was more of a quick lunch service than relaxing dining. Our Servers changed over the course of the meal. That was abit strange. We didn?t really feel like ?guests? although we were well taken care of. We waited too long to have our tablecleared #petpeeve Specific food reviews: Sushi pizza was too crunchy. Its all you noticed. Took away from the great salmontopping. Fish was fresh! Salmon definitely was delicious. Green salad was a large portion and fresh! Edamame was perfectlysalted not overdressed. Pressed, torched salmon was great and a first for us all! Miso soup didn?t have any chunks of tofu: Follow @linreviews on instagram
