Get the Taste Menu. It is a great way to sample their most popular dishes. Our party was large with 8 people, the table was very large and had lots of room. You have to be ready for all the noise in this place. Even with a lot of enthusiasm, after the third sake bomb in three minutes, your ears start ringing and voice is starting to crack. Went here for a birthday. While the staff was friendly, they forgot my meal....three times. We finally left and while they did apologize I was pretty hungry by that point. View all feedback.

Older review from my Yelp:Bar food tastes good and that holds true for Japanese bars. If you aren 't fond of noise, this place is not for you. Or come here earlier and not on a Friday or Saturday night, to try to avoid the drinking crowd. Went here at 8pm on a Friday and everyone 's merry.If you don 't drink alcohol or if you are the designated driver for the night, their virgin cocktails don 't disappoint.The price point is sort of in the expensive side, but the servings are reasonable and the flavours are exquisite. Service is fast and the servers are nice.Try their karubi (beef short ribs). It can go well with rice, or just with your drinks.Their ovsters on rice and udon are have complete flavours and are both filling.There 's a tatami seating (floor seating) area in this location.
The food was delicious, definitely comfort food! I would highly recommend any of the sashimi dishes and any of the blow-torched sushi's.
The food was alright, nothing special, but at least it was not overly pricey.We were a table of 5 on a Sunday evening. After a long wait 4 of our appetizers came out, the last one came probably half an hour later. Our drinks also took a long time, came after the first round of apps. Also not everyone got what they ordered.The ambiance is alright, there is a variety of seating, but the music was way too loud and didn't fit the ambiance at all.In my opinion the place is not super bad, but there are so many better options in the neighbourhood.
Overall, the food was delicious! The drinks were flavorful and the atmosphere was inviting, with tasteful decorations.
