The vegan options at this restaurant are delicious. There is a good selection in every category. It would be even better if they added more vegan choices to the menu.
Have eaten here several times when in town and always enjoy our meal. Fast service with fresh ingredients. Simple decor and clean. Large parking lot a few feet away. Very well priced with good portions. This time we ordered a chicken and a beef Bibimbap. Really enjoyed our meal with all the side dishes, good kimchi.
Have walked by this place dozens or hundreds of times over the years. Finally went in. Pleasant friendly staff, sparse decor. A huge Van Gogh print seemed out of place. Lengthy menu of the usual Korean fare plus a few Japanese items. Lots of lunch specials at very reasonable prices. We both chose a Korean bento box served with miso soup and comprised of rice, a sald, three dumplings, some glass noodles and meat stir fry or barbecue. Good soup, the rest was just ok. Arrived quickly and hot. I was disappointed that we didn't receive the small dishes (banshan), the real reason for going to a Korean restaurant. We noticed other tables ordering the same thing received them. I asked for a dish of kimchi which came without charge but it was pretty kimchi. Nice touches such as a jug of water and/or tea placed on the table for do it yourself refills. We might go back and more traditional items but oveverall the Korean restaurants on Bloor Street, west of Bathurst are much better.
I had a craving for Chinese sliced rice cake "noodles" and remembered that some Korean recipes use rice cakes as well! I was excited to find a rice cake version here. The dish was very saucy but had a great flavor, and it came with banchan! The potato pancake really needed some salt, but overall, the noodles were excellent.
