So glad I dined here! Was looking for a late night ramen spot and Japas delivered. The grilled mackerel was so delicious and the Ramen was excellent. Cool decor inside as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Joseph Griffin dislikes about Japas:
worst serviceliterally server hangs around the bar.When we tried to get their attention they walk away. We literally had our empty drink for 10 minutes multiple times. It's absurd to add auto grat and giving poor service cause they know they are going to get 15% tip.My friend was in town and this was the closest spot so we went. I've been here few times and service is usually garbage View all feedback.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are fantastic. The food is also excellent value for the price.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Every dish we ordered was expertly cooked and incredibly tasty. The grilled mackerel was a standout for me, closely followed by the okonomiyaki. These dishes paired perfectly with a refreshing Japanese beer such as Asahi. I only wish this restaurant was closer to my home.
This izakaya serves absolutely amazing, delectable Japanese dishes. The small plates are made with care and the okonomiyaki, yakitori, beef skewers, and miso soup are especially fantastic. The atmosphere is comfortable with plenty of seating, and the Japanese staff are kind and accommodating. Highly recommended - we will definitely be returning.
