Jack Astor's Toronto North York

Unfortunately it was very cold on the ground floor for the whole of the duration I was there (the whole England game). Even when the doors were closed. Our food took at least an hour to arrive and the nachos had very little topping. I had asked at the beginning of the game if the volume could be turned up which I was advised yes. Although it appeared that the bar staff went to what may have been the audio system to increase the volume, there was no change. It’s a shame this was a bad experience as I’ve been there before many times but I won’t be in a rush to go back and neither will my two friends I was with.

This was a Saturday night at 5pm. We made a reservation and immediately walked out of the restaurant after seeing this. No one was serving in the area and every table was covered in used plates and glasses. Very poor for a Sircorp location.

We used to love taking the family to Jack Astor’s. Over the last few months, the menu and quality of food has really deteriorated. Usually, the service is at least very friendly but last night we had to go find our server a few times. It’s unfortunately coming off of our regular restaurant rotation list.

It was son's 14th birthday and celebrating his great report card. The service was amazing and made it a very rewarding time.

Our server was amazing!!!! Was honest, responsive and friendly.
