I dined there twice dur... read more The entrance to the restaurant from Avenue St through the arcade to the patio offers a peaceful escape to a world of well-prepared food. I dined there twice during a group visit and the experience was excellent both during busy and quiet times (even when it briefly rained!). Our server, Pedro, initially seemed aloof but was actually very smooth and attentive. He provided excellent recommendations for wine and was accommodating to diners with food allergies.

The fish we ordered was expertly fi... read more Il Posto Nuovo is definitely worth a visit, especially for Pedro who goes out of his way to make his customers feel welcome. The fish we ordered was expertly filleted and served with a delicious variety of cooked vegetables. I also tried the restaurant's pasta, which was served by Pedro in a lovely light red sauce - it was absolutely delicious. And if you have room for dessert, the tiramisu is fantastic.

Your meal will come with bread. Most everyone ordered soup of the day with their meal but a few ordered salads. Everyone left very full. Arrived at the restaurant at 7 and finished at 9:30 so this isn't a quick in and out.

All ordered different entrees and my friends said they enjoyed it. The gnocchi was to die for and disappointed the caprese salad was with bocconcini cheese. Ambiance is lively and the server was very accommodating with our requests even though the food took a while to arrive.The owner was very attentive, personal and charming. The parking was a headache because of construction that made us 15 minutes late.Keep up the good work.

We thought we had a private dining room but it ended up being two separate tables, one of which was in a sectioned off yet open area of the restaurant. Not the best set up for a team dinner but other than that the food and the service was great. I would recommend this restaurant for a smaller group as again, the food and service were very good. We had a set menu and there were enough options that everyone came away happy with their meal.
