We went on the wait list for a table at 7:00 pm Saturday night, within 3 hours we got a table! This location is not as loud as the previous location on Church street, but it is still pretty noisy so NOT recommended for an intimate evening! Food came before our drinks, but cam fast and furious. Miso cod not as good as last time, but otherwise our meal was tasty. It did take a bit too much time for our waitress to take... Really enjoyed the tapas style eating here. We had a selection - the kale with black sesame was sensational - anyone who can make kale taste that good is a cooking God/Goddess! Spicy fried chicken had a good sriracha style kick and the fried brie is wonderful and gooey. Salmon sushi delicious although a little on the expensive side considering what you are getting.Still all in all thumbs up to this place - just wish the music wasn't quite so loud - it is like sitting in club you have to shout!
Great atmosphere and tasty Japanese fair in true Izakaya form. We had the duck breast ramen noodle soup. Ramen noodles were cooked to perfection, plenty of duck breast, and the broth was salty but just right for my taste. We also had the octopus with wasabi seeaweeed tacos! Yes yes yes. These are eye watering AND wonderful. Do enjoy!
Hello! So many years have past since I have been to Toronto (actually about 2,) but there's a spot that I would never forget and that is this medium sized restaurant located in the heart of downtown Toronto. I remember that as soon as you entered you are greeted (more like yelling) something in Japanese (I suppose they say welcome) just this little moment you feel warmed welcome, to be honest the service was really good and super friendly and quick whenever you need anything; however that excludes the food because it was a bit slow but delicious, this has been one of my top 5 sushi restaurants. This is not an all you can eat, so it is a bit expensive but totally worthy. The set up its really Japanese. I really wish I could remember or taken pictures of the food
